Presented by our CTO Dave Shaver, the webinar explored how health IT teams will need to adjust their infrastructure to include FHIR and the applications that use open APIs. Future integration API touch-points will allow a more open ecosystem of applications and support patient demands for access to their health data while empowering providers though data exchange.

 

In addition to his role as CTO at Corepoint Health, Dave is a board member of both HL7 International and the FHIR Foundation while also co-chairing the HL7 FHIR Governance Board, which helps set the strategic direction of the FHIR standard. Dave is one of the country’s leading interoperability experts and will offer some important insights that will help healthcare organizations prepare for the exciting changes that FHIR APIs will introduce.
